Bahan-bahan Mexican Coffee Bun / Roti Boy / Roti O
- Siapkan Bahan Topping.
- Siapkan 100 gr butter.
- Kamu membutuhkan 70-80 gr gula halus.
- Siapkan 1 butir telur ukuran sedang.
- Siapkan 1 bungkus coffee mix instan (larutkan dengan 1-2 sdm air hangat).
- Siapkan 100 gr tepung terigu, ayak.
- Siapkan Bahan Roti.
- Kamu membutuhkan 250 gr tepung protein tinggi.
- Siapkan 5 gr ragi instan.
- Siapkan 1 sdm susu bubuk.
- Siapkan 50 gr gula pasir.
- Siapkan 1 butir telur.
- Siapkan 90-110 ml air dingin / susu cair (sesuaikan adonan msg2).
- Kamu membutuhkan 25 gr mentega.
- Kamu membutuhkan Bahan isian.
- Kamu membutuhkan Secukupnya butter / keju / cokelat.
These are delicious and so different- Not really Mexican, they are from Malaysia. It is like a thin coffee butter cookie spread over the bun. When you bite into these the outside is crisp while the inside is soft and buttery. Oooh I always love the alluring fragrant of this coffee bun!
Mexican Coffee Bun / Roti Boy / Roti O Tata cara
- Buat topping lebih dulu. Mixer butter dan gula sampai mengembang, lalu masukkan telur secara bertahap. Masukkan kopi, terakhir masukkan tepung. Aduk sampai benar-benar tercampur rata. Masukkan ke piping bag / plastik segitiga, simpan dalam lemari pendingin. Keluarkan 30 menit sebelum digunakan.
- Buat adonan Roti : Campur semua bahan kering lalu masukkan telur diikuti dengan air dingin / susu cair. Uleni hingga setengah kalis. Lalu masukkan butter / mentega, uleni hingga kalis elastis.
- Diamkan adonan hingga mengembang 2x lipat (± 30 menit). Lalu bagi adonan (saya bagi jadi 8), bulatkan. Ambil 1 bulatan lalu pipihkan adonan (hati2 jgn terlalu tipis agar tidak pecah atau luber) dan beri isian (saya hanya mentega dan spready cheese), bulatkan dan rapatkan kembali. Ulangi hingga adonan habis kemudian diamkan kembali sampai mengembang 2x lipat.
- Panaskan oven, semprot adonan dengan topping yang sudah kita siapkan tadi. Semprot melingkar dari bagian tengah atas sampai ¾ adonan. Lakukan pada semua adonan roti. Panggang dalam oven pada suhu 180°C selama 25-30 menit (sesuaikan oven masing-masing).
- Setelah matang, dinginkan di colling rack agar roti tidak lembab bagian bawahnya. Siap dimakan saat hangat.
It tasted so awfully good when its still warm, crusty cookie topping with buttery filling. But my first attempt on this coffee bun was really a disaster hahaha.filling all oozing out and the topping really looks ugly *no eyes see* >.<. The previous recipe was using water roux in the bread dough and the My personal preference is I like my previous Mexican Coffee Buns recipe more because of the icing sugar in its filling make the bun taste better. coffee buns or roti boys as some call it…anywho, i love these…. the smell of it when baking…. the faint smell of coffee is so romantic…. the hubby loves this bun but surprisingly, he did not know it's called roti boy (and he calls himself malaysian?)… anyway, I enjoy plating my bakes with cute.
